    uh-oh

I accidentally did the Basscat7 method with 150 grit. I didn't do it on any major areas but hey.

Anything I can do to get it shining? I tried 1500 and then 2000 finished off with rubbing compound and it still looked kind of dull. I didn't hit any flake.

Wow 150 I start with 320 on solid colors. Go back with 320-400 wet sanding then 600 then 1000 grit wet ,heavy duty rubbing compound then glaze and wax. Start with a small area and get your technique down pat then work your way on to larger areas just make sure you dont do thru the clear. Good Luck

Found out it scared my fishing buddy so I bought a smaller Stratos with a smaller Johnson

    Re: uh-oh (rwainwright)

I went back with 600 and then 1500 and it looks ok, not perfect but kind of shiny. It's the splashwell so its a pain. There is one spot from where the cables rubbed and exposed flake that was already silver. Can I just spray that with clear?
