The area I am wet sanding around is right in the splashwell. In one spot, the cables have brushed through the clear onto the flake. Is there any way that I can just put a black base on and re spray flake and clear in this area?

Now that's thinking outside the box! I like that idea.

I'd also recommend installing bed liner coating.
We sprayed Raptor coating inside my entire battery compartment and splashwell.....It looks awesome and I don't have to worry about oil and gas in either area anymore.
Really cleaned up the whole area and made it look brand new. Plus it just looks really trick!

So I am not the only one with the faded splash well?
I plan on using raptor in my splash well on my current project......Just wondering though, why did you spray over your motor mount bolts??
