Is the grey 2 part epoxy that you get to hold down your thru-hull transducer the same as the Marine Tex epoxy? Does anyone know where I can get the same epoxy that Lowrance sells for transducers but in larger amounts?

As far as holding the transducer in place Ive used marine grade goop glue, clear silicone, and 2 part epoxy before. All work fine. goop is probably the easiest one to use. Just make sure the area that you are gluing to is clean any dry. This has not been a big deal for me to get done, maybe I've been lucky. You just can't have any bubbles. I used the silicone ones just to test placement, everything seemed fine and I anded up leaving it that way for years.![]()
