    225/200 E-tec whats the difference

    I ordered a 294 stratos with a 200 E-tec HO. looking at the rude web site I could not find a difference between the 225 and 200 under the specs......

    also I have heard people asking what gear casing to order. I just told the dealer 200 E-tec HO , Did I need to be more specific/ Its a really good dealer and I know he has ordered me what i need but I just was curious.

    The difference is a couple of Hundred in the price...

    The HO's come with the Lightning gearcase at this time and it is the only case offered.

    Bigfish,

    You got what you need. The 200HO is closer to a 225 than it is a 200. You will be impressed with the boat and motor.
