Best way to get scratches out of gelcoat??

Got a couple minor surface scratches in the gelcoat. What is the best way to get rid of them? Thanks in advance!!

If they are not too deep then standard rubbing compound will usually take them out.
If it does not then you can use 1200 grit sandpaper to get them out.
Keep the paper wet, sand until they are gone, compound to remove the sanding marks then wax.
