95 Procraft 210.When cleaning hull i found stress crack down 1st strake from center about 5' back from bow just behind front seat area.crack is stained.can i grind out gellcoat and apply marinetex.The crack is in the strake radius.

Yes
Use a small bit to bevel the edges of the crack and remove any sharp edges.
A Dremel tool works well.
White Marine Tex, force it into the crack and get it as smooth as you can to lessen any finish sanding you need to do.
Tape the area around the crack to within 1/2" of it so you don't sand into the good gelcoat.
Thanks,after reading back about 100 posts and checking methods used just wanted to check using this method on hull strakes,you guys take out the quesswork.
