Wire loom from the bilge to the outboard questions...

I have a 96 Basscat PII with a Mariner 200 and im in the process of dressing it up a bit and have a question or two.

What "coupler" type device do you use to attach the wire loom at the motor and at the boat? Im looking to hide my throttle, gas line and wiring.

My description might not work so ill go look for pics.
    Thanks

You can buy some of that polyester expandable mesh sleeving from electrical supply places and general industrial suppliers like Grainger or McMaster-Carr etc. I believe it come in sizes up to about 2 inches or so in diameter.

I know years ago a guy on here used a vac hose ans it turned out good, I was more worried about connecting it cleanly to the outboard but it appears E-bay will have what I need.

And I already had the woven stuff on it but it was old and nasy so im looking for a change.

I've made two using the $12 shop vac hose kit from Lowes. On the Mercury there is a plastic insert that fits into the lower pans that conforms the wires coming int. I take that piece, open it up, then using angle blackets I attach a hose fitting with a female coupler to it. Then run your wires, and that fitting bolted to that pan piece makes for a solid connection of the hose, just as the nice Mrcury one on the Pro XS's. All for under $15 as well.

Do you have any photos of how you've attached the angle brackets/coupler? I think I understand but a visual would help!
