89 18 ft shadow

I am going to go look at an 89 18 ft Shadow it is 1 owner Can anybody tell me anything about them ?.

Check it over good as with any other used rig. The older Shadow's had some problems with cracking/coming apart just under the rub rail at the bow.

They were performance hulls and sat low on the water ran like scawleded dogs.They removed the top cap and made a bass boat insert and installed that inplace of the full runabout cap. They could get kind of squirrely once on pad but once you got the hang of them you could make them fly.

Thanks for the input. I went to go look at the boat but I made a little deture. I ended up with a 94 Javelen 379 t 1 owner boat even got all the paper work.
