I always used the chepo rod sleves from Bass Pro...always seemed to work for me...only thing that does suck about them is if you have a lure on a rod and the hooks get stuck in a strap or the nylon
Yes i definetly understand that. Ive been having that problem latley.
I have rod tubes in my Ranger and still use B.P.S. rod sleeves.I cut all the straps off when I bought them.If youre gonna keep the rods in the locker,I never saw any useful purpose of the straps.I also didnt like the rods being under a constant load from the stretch of the strap.
