Anyone have or know where I can get some used seats for my boat? They don't have to be perfect, just functional. I would love to get some new ones from the boat seat store, just not in the budget right now.![]()

I just purchases a set from ebay this morning and the are boat seat store seats for bass boats. I think they were $175 plus $50 shipping. They are being sold by the pontoon store which a branch of boat seat store. The seats are tan and black. They don't match my boat but I can live with that. They had a couple of sets available. I called them and the guy told me that they are last years model. If they are not available check Cabelas they have some on sale right now.
I was watching those same seats on ebay. I just haven't been able to pull the trigger. I'm not sure if the tan and black would look good in my boat.
I know they are not going to look good in my stratos but they wife kinda put me on a a budget. The plastic core of my original seats were broken and in pieces.
They do make a vinyl spray paint. I was thinking of doing that.![]()
The price of the seats on ebay have went up to $200. I purchased mine at $175.00
You should be able to have the original seats recovered for $175-200 ea. Upholsterers should be able to duplicate the original colors & patterns. I went that route rather than buy something that didn't match for more money.

Only cost me about 35 bucks. That should be within budget. Find a staple gun and some marine fabric. I actually bought to much of it and had some left over. I didn't even take the old vinyl off, just cover over to the old. Oh and make sure to do it in the sun to soften the vinyl up..
I would recover except the frames are all rotted out. The back is one full piece with wraparound on each end. the bottoms are two separate pieces with a step in the middle. I could try to rebuild the framework, but I just don't have the time to deal with it. Also hoping to update the seats some. I was talking to a local upolstry shop, and he told me by the time he would rebuild the frames and recover, i would be in the ballpark of 500 or so. For that much, I can order a whole new bench from the boat seat store. I just wished they offered more colors.
Rebuild it out of wood and then recover. That will look better than it does now. Won't cost much. Find time to do this for now. One thing for sure, I bet you have more time than money. Once you do it yourself you will feel like you would of got robbed by an shop thats going to charge 500.00...Oh and maybe look to see if you can just screw the pieces back to the original state..

Which is the reason I went w/ recovering & repairing what I had. I ended up w/ a factory seat in the same patterns & colors & not buying something no really even close to what I wanted. Don't forgot to add shipping when thinking about ordering seats.
You say the frames are rotten, are you sure its not just the seat bottom? The frames on mine were all plastic w/ wood seat bottoms.
