found 2 holes in transom Pics

Ok i was just looking over boat (1994 690 ranger) and i noticed under the kicker motor there were to small cracks well pushed on them and the gel coat chipped. I pushed on them with a screwdriver and they pushed in. looks like someone drilled 2 holes in the wrong spot for the kicker. There seems to be no water damage to transom. How should i fix this. I have some left over gel coat from ranger that i used to fix chip in keel. Slould I just run 2 bolts threw them and calk it? I was thinking of filling the holes with gel coat. Should i fill them with marine seal first? heres a pic

I'd fill them with white Marine Tex.

I was thinkin about that. was thinkin about filling them alost to the end then fill the rest with gel coat to match the boat

First, make sure they are dry inside beofre sealing them.

Easiest is to fill with 3m caulk and run a screw in them.

Cleanest look would be to fill with marine tex and then gel coat over with the factory gel.

If you only have the gel and no marine tex you can thicken the gelcoat with talc powder and force that in the hole like you would the marine tex, then fill the outside with straight gelcoat.
