    Question about wet sanding

My old ranger has one section where the finish is dull and rough to the touch. The rest of the boat looks good after rubbing out with a polishing compound. I'm wondering do I just need to wet sand the part that is rough or do I have to do the whole boat? Thanks Bob

Chances are the section you sand is going to loook a little different . Best bet is to wet sand that section, then do the entire boat with a buffer and compound, then wax.
