    on motor rebuild for championman

    i had to have my 04 johnson motor rebuilt before the rebuild i was turning 5600rpm and now after the build i am only getting 5200-5300 rpm is this normal? boat is not acting like it did before not really getting up on the pad like it used to.Any ideas on what to look for ?

    Who did the motor Todd? If someone reliable like Riverside did it or a major outfit did it, it will loosen up after about 20 hours.

    I had the work done over a year ago but eversince I have had the low rpm work was done buy m& c outboard in shepardsville ky that's where I bought the boat Craig is a good mechanic just wondering if he has it set for the lower rpms something just not right
