boat carpet

Not really a restoration project but I have never really cleaned the carpet in my Gambler and although it's not real bad I want to clean it and maybe try to fluff it up a little. It's matted down from a few years of use. What seems to be the best method to tackle the job? Is there a small steamer you can rent or?
