Previous owner of my boat put one of those dome style bases on the front deck of the boat. I would love to take it off as I trip over it when I am not using the front pedestal, but it has like 8 or 10 bolts in it...other than tearing up the carpet which I don't want to do just yet any suggestions for fixing it and making it look decent?
you could remove the base and get a custom carpet decale bigger that the area of the seat base that removed with 1 big square desale
that is a good idea..should I do anything to deck? I thought about an aluminum plate below then something to fill the holes with???
maybe just carpet the area where the seat post was and then use decale.
