    Marine TEX ?

I have a small crack on the bottom of my hull. It is in a place that has be fixed before. It is about the size of a quarter and maybe 1/8th of inch deep. Not all the way through or anything. I went to the marina and they gave me some marine tex to just patch it for a quick and non-expensive fix. It say it handles like putty, hardens like steel, adn sands like wood.
Has anyone ever used this stuff and will it hold up on the bottom of the hull. This spot is about 4 inches form the side of the boat. I can reach it by standing at the side of the boat while it is on the trailer.
    Thanks

Re: Marine TEX ? (bassfish 24-7)

Other than having a glass shop match the gelcoat, Marine Tex is the best you can use for this kind of repair. Follow the directions, it is waterproof and permanent.
