    Gel Coat Repair

    Ok, I put a good ding in the Skeeter gel coat. Spot is 1.5" in diameter and the fiberglass strands are exposed. It is below the waterline. Using the boat this weekend - so should I seal it with some epoxy resin until I can get it repaired in a few weeks?

    Don't use epoxy on fiberglass it may not bond well. Use either a fiberglass resin or marinetex.
