The molded rub rail has damaged areas at the bow (see image) and I'm thinking about replacing it. Does anyone know how difficult of a job this is, and how I would go about removing the old rub rail?

I dont know about your boat but mine is held in place by about a million screws....
To remove rub rail, take out insert (center pc) remove the million screwa and it should fall off. Place new rub rail is sun to warm up so it is plyable then replace the million screws![]()
Some boats hace silicone around the bottom to help seal the hull..
yeah thiers a pile of screws to take out but its not really that bad. just time consuming

Thanks for the tip on warming up the new rail. The damage on my current rail is from the previous owner.Just one of those things I haven't gotten around to replacing. At a little over $200 for new parts, it may have to wait a bit though -- ugh!
