Ok, tried alcohol and goo gone and neither is taking this rubberized jelly glue that they use on the big Triton logo on the side of the boat off. Any suggestions?

That decal glue can be tough to remove. I have had some luck using a razor blade (use it like a scraper) and acetone. You will have to work at it, but the acetone seems to soften it, where you can scrape it off a layer at a time. Be careful though, you don't want to gouge your finish with the razor blade.

Thanks, I thought about a blade, but was worried about hitting the gel coat. I'll keep working at it.![]()

WD-40 will also help with the razor.
Grafix or graphics gone is the best. I've used them all and they all stink...if you can get some it works best...I ge tmine through beacon graphics.

my kid took all the badges off his pick up he got some, DONT LAUGH plastic razor blades from the body shop area of napa. if you want a safer scraping tool .it might be a help![]()
I used "Aircraft Decal Remover" which I purchased at O'Reilly's to get some old registration numbers off my boat. It worked great.
Go to a parts store or body shop supply house and ask for the wheel that removes decals using a drill. It's kinda like a big eraser wheel and it WILL NOT DAMAGE the gel coat. It works on a friction basis and it works.
I'll have to check that out.![]()

I'm a sign/graphics guy by trade. We remove adhesive all the time. Buy Rapid Remover or another brand of adhesive remover and use a plastic razorblade or sharp plastic scraper. Look in your phone book under sign supplies and call em up or if you don't mind waiting for shipping, go on the net. Your better off going with what the pros use.
