post some pics so we can see what you need to do...is it just dull??...oxidized??...just want to bring that showroom shine back??...McGuires is some of the best was...their oxidation remover is great too...3M makes the best rubbing and polishing compounds...I wouldn't start any lower than 1000 grit WET sandpaper...the main thing is WET WET WET...never dry...and use the feeling in your hand to let you know how its going. ONLY wet sand if its oxidized to the point that rubbing and polishing compounds won't take it off. Pics would help. WELCOME TO THE BOARD!! your in the right place for bass boat help!![]()
It is just a little dull I will post some a.s.a.p
some pics would be great!!!
I used Mequires Heavy Oxidation remover...the the color restorer...and topped it off with Mequires Gold Glass wax...on the Hydra Sport.
Keep in mind I am a Mequires fanatic! It is all I have used on all my vehicles ( all 3 of them Black I might add)...but I think it did a good job. After sitting for three years my boat was more gray than anything.
