Rule of thumb, always order 10 more feet than the length of the boat. This has proven true to me on 9/9 boats. With careful measuring I still only have scraps left over.

i ordered 18 x 8 to do my 17' boat and had a good bit left over, but all of my old carpet came off without tearing so i had templates.

I replaced my carpet for my Tr21 and used this place....they have the carpet already cut for the boat. The pieces are cut to the shapes you need and are a little larger. You just have to trim them to fit exact. Here's a link to their Basscat kit.

And here's a link to the post I made when I replaced mine so you can see the carpet quality. They were great to deal with too.

They even send a large extra piece along with it incase you mess up on one. They also marked all the pieces with an arrow on the bottom so you place all of the grain the same way.
