36 volt trolling motor in a ranger 370V

anyone fiigure out how to make room for that fourth battery?
    I have a 1987 ranger 370V

with the price of fuel I think that spending some money on a powerful trolling motor may be worth while. 36 volts motors are nice for getting to other side of the river rather than firing up the big motor.

I have no room in the engine compartment for the batteries needed.
I alreay upgraded to a 24 volts system.
    any ideas?

I guess it depends on how much you're going to use all 36 volts, but you probably don't need a 4th battery. I've had a 36 volt Motorguide trolling motor in my 1988 364V for years. The connections for the third battery are hooked up to my starting battery. My trolling motor normally runs on 24 volts, but it has a switch I flip on to get all 36 volts when I need an extra boost of power.

I run 24 volts 99% of the time for normal fishing, except when I fish the Upper Niagara River close to the warning buoys near the brink of Niagara Falls or if I'm fishing the Erie Canal and a big cabin cruiser heads in my direction.

fishing on the Ca delta where I live we deal with strong currents not to mention high wind. On the lakes I am happy with what I have.
