Had some gel coat damage this week when my hual made contact with the deck cleat do to a cabin cuirser not following the 5mph sign. Anyway I'm looking for some info on patch the gel coat so I can get back out there. size is about a 1in by 2in area. thanks for any help with info

can you explian more ?is it all the way thru ,just a gouge do you have a pic?
No pics on hand I'm at work for the next couple of days. The gel coat is gone/ missing leaving the fiberglass exposed, it's above the water line. There dosen't apear to be anyother damage I just wanting to make sure that its water tight before I take it back out on the water. I will attempt to post a pic or two when I get home
