    Bondo Air Bubbles

I just installed a Bob's nose cone on my l.u. Problem :: When sanding the bondo down and then refilling the low places I have areas with small void where air bubles traped in the bondo. It's almost impossile to fill thes in with bondo cause when you apply more bondo in these areas air is trapped in these voids and create hollow humps in the bondo. Help is needed!!!!

Try putting a few coats of fibergalss resin on and get that sanded smooth before putting on more filler. You should be able to work that into the holes easier.

No matter what you use you will have to coat with a part epoxy primer/sealer or a coat of epoxy resin to seal the body filler

I believe Evercoat is an excellent plastic body filler. Its been a while but when I did the Quarters on my Mustang I used it and no need for spot putty. Plus it was 10 times easier to sand!!
