    Redoing dash...

I'm looking for brushed aluminum plate to replace old Ranger dash. Where can I find sheets of it? Thanks!

I would think you would want to use Stainless Steel Sheet just because of the Corrosion factor. Brushed Stainless is reallly nice looking.

I am on the same project now. Stainless is up to over $2.00 a pound. It is also very hard and difficult or impossible to cut the holes in the size you need. We work with it everyday. It would make a nice panel, but probably overkill. If you use stainless go down about 3 gauges in thickness.

For aluminum look at mcmaster.com they are a little pricey but have small pieces. I made my floor from 1/4" fiberglass sheets from them.

Also, if you have a Tyssen steel or Tull metals close you may find someone nice and get a scrap piece.
