Remove the lid and drill the next bigger holes in the lid where the pop rivets are and put the next size pop rivets in the hinge.
Just drill out the old poprivits and get stainless ones with a small washer. Ranger uses a large rivet already. Mine did the same thing. I just drilled out and put same size rivet in with washer on head side and it worked great super tight. Just make sure you have some brawnto pop those stainless rivets. There will be about 10 per hinge.
can't find the right rivets so I am going to use short stainless screws with washers and nylon nuts opinions???
Home depo has them I beleive but I got mine at a local hardware.
Ended up going with the screws and lock nuts never could find the correct rivets...thanks for the help..
