Okay I have a dumb question...why should you not use automotive touchup paint on your boat/trailer fenders? Just curious if the touchups you need are only cosmetic and have no potential for anything else? sorry dumb question I know..

Greg, I've never heard that before. I certainly wouldn't have a problem using auto touch-up paint.

I've used automotive touch up paint on my trailer fenders before. It works great!!!
Okay maybe the guy I heard if from was full of bullchit...he said something about it can damange the surface around the scratch, chip etc and make it worse later blahblah....
