    Boatcarpetonline.com

Anyone familiar with this company. I ordered some samples on January 23, 2007 and have yet to receive them. I got my credit card bill the other day and the charge was there, but still no carpet samples. I got tired of waiting and went to Dalton to purchase my carpet. I sent "Mark Gable" an e-mail inquiring as to the charges and lack of samples, but no response...It's just $4 but it is the principle of the thing. If anyone knows him or has had dealings with him please let me know. If he runs a good business then great, but if not consider this a warning to other BBC'ers

    .....UPDATE.......
Mark responded and corrected the problem. Made an honest mistake and fixed it, that's what I like in a business. I guess that I was just so frustrated with the carpet process as a whole I might have overreacted.

that's what I was going to do, but the shade of red that they offered was closer than that of Basscat and Bassboatcarpet.com. Actually ended up getting it from Ingles Carpet in Dalton GA...for $5 per foot...8' wide. Claimed it was 26oz. It feels good on the feet.

I got my carpet from this company and the transaction went very well. The product is nice, delivery was prompt, and the price very competitive.

I believe I also purchased my carpet from this company several years ago. So far, the carpet has held up well.

i have to say that this is a shock, i ordered some samples several months back and didnt have to pay for the samples. they were very helpfull and i got the samples within a few days, ordered the carpet and received it in less than a week.
sorry to hear of your troubles, but i had a total different experience with them.

    Re: Boatcarpetonline.com (wakinvol)

Anyone know how to contact Mark from boatcarpetonline? I placed an order a week or so ago and have yet to receive confirmation that the order had been processed/shipped, although the charge to my card was processed in a timely fashion. I tried the email address from the website mark@boatcarpetonline.com and the email came back undeliverable. I am in need of the carpet I ordered to finish my project and I need to finish the project before I can go fishing and I really am starting to get the itch. Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
