air box?

I just put a set of 225 carbs on my 96 venom 200. Now I find that the old airbox won't do as the holes are too small. Darn, should have known. Also the cowl is quite small on this model and it looks like a regular 225 airbox that I can get off EBay ain't gonna fit in there. The main jet is 64. If I run without a box I will have to go a lot higher - I figure 72D? Maybe I should cut the holes out on the 200 box? Got any ideas? Looks like they put a smaller cowling on them 96 200 venoms?

Nope the cowls are all the same. But if you changed carbs and the old air box was the old style million screw style you will have to change the intake to accept the newer thumb screw 2 screw style.
