Boat seat question

I just boaught a 1998 Fisher March Hawk 170 (Tin Bass Boat),
the bench seat for the drivers area is in pretty
bad shape and i would like to replace it.But i have
ran into a problem , while trying to find a replacement
bench seat (the stock seat in it measures 43inches wide and there
is maybe an inch of free room).My problem is all after market
bench seats i have found made by Wise & Tempress & Cabelas all measure 48inches wide.
So it seems im sorta screwed trying to purchase a replacement seat.
It seems like trying to buy 3 single seats across will not fit either
even if i go with 3 smallers ones ect...Im sorta caught between a rock
and a hard place on this one.
Do any of you have any ideas of what i can do - to try to find a replacement seat?
Recovering the old seat is sorta out of the question also , the foam is all ruined
the mounts on the back are stripped out ect..

Maybe one of you guys can point me in the right direction.

Looks expensive , im trying to stay around the under $300 range , the after market
bench seats ive found are around $200 to $250 that were 48in. I cant really afford to spend over that.This guys seat's are over $600 it looks like.I dont think it would be to wise for me to spend that much money on a seat for this boat - because the boat it self really isnt valued at much money.

i would call him you never know until you ask...he might have something lying around priced right that he could cut down....his stuff is first class...

You could buy two of the aftermarket seats you mentioned, then have a local upholstry shop make you a third middle smaller step/cup holder/mini seat. For that matter, two seats and just get two smaller pieces of plywood and wrap w/ vinyl and cushion yourself. You would be surprised how simple that construction of the middle seat is.

For your budget, Deans is probably too expensive. They were over my budget. Ebay is a good place if you can find something close to you. Shipping can be tough.
