    Non skid rubber

    Does any one know where You can buy the self adhesive non skid rubber,like what is under the trolling motor on a 2008 Stratos!!!!!!

    that is not the rubber that is like sand paper. I beleive cabelas has it or just call the boat manufacture and they will sell you some

    Blow the Pic up, there is the sand paper crap and three versions of rubber non slip.

    Michael, the reviews stopped me from buying it. I will look and see what I can find glue wise from Lowes I guess.

    I'm no expert but I think I would go with a waterproof spray adhesive.

    I just used 3m spray adhesive and it's held fine.

    3M 90 spray adhesive, same stuff people use on lid carpeting. Just make sure you prep the surface correctly, used it on my old boat 2 years ago and the nonskid is still stuck to the bow.

    Roger, I used that stuff and it did not last for me. How do you do the "rolled" corners and get it to stick there?

    I cleaned the bottom of the rubber and the stick area with acetone. Are there other prep measures I should take?
