I knocked a small dime size chip in the top cap of my 2006 Triton TR 196. The chip only goes through the clear coat of gel-coat. I was wondering if there was something I could use to cover up this chip or repair the clear gel-coat shine.

You could purchasea gelcoat repair kit. Most marine places (West Marine, ect.) sell them. They come with various colors and the clear gelcoat. There should also be instructions.
