    ProTray Intsall

Here are some picks of the ProTray intsall on my 195VF Charger. It was pretty simple to do & I can't wait to see how it does on the water. It already gives me more leg room where I can stretch out and be comfortable. Thanks to Mark and the gang at Polyfab!!! Hope ya can see the pics okay, my first time posting pics on here!

Now for the finishing touches, clean it all up and head for the lake! This only took about 2 hours to do. If your going to get one, when ya cut the deck, just make sure the wires are all out of the way so ya don't cut them. The harness for the front livewell controls, lights and trim switch on Chargers run right through where you have to cut.

Now that we're all done its time!!!

Nice job, looks great! I cannot get the nuts to cut a hole that big! Did you use a jigsaw?

Thanks, no I used a Sawsall, the template that you get with the ProTray is just the right size and if you take ur time you won't have to do any extra cutting. Just make sure if ya get one to place the template where you want it, cause if not and you cut in the wrong spot , then my friend you have a major problem! I know what ya mean about gettin the nuts to cut the hole, it took me three months to decide to do it. I have a feeling it is all going to be worth it though. I'll find out this weekend, heading to the lake rain or shine!!

That looks really nice and clean

How thick is the tray and what is it made out of? If you get kida excited and put some good pressure on that spot do you think it could lead to any problems?

I 'd say the tray is 1/8th inch thick or maybe a little more, it is very sturdy. The holes all come molded in it and it has a formed lip around the perimeter for estra stablity. I stood in it with both feet when I was putting the screws in so as to make sure and get a good solid seal on the silicone. I don't see how there'll be any problems unless one really gets rough and just tries to tear it up.

    NICE JOB..
Is there any way you can get bigger pictures of the proccess because I would like to see a close up look at it BEFORE I try it on my ride.

It sure does look like you would get more leg room

    Thanks for trying. Ray

Tried the boat out today for the first time with the new steering and protray. The protray is awesome. With the pedal being almost flush with the deck now, it gives you a little more stablity in rougher water, and it helps to reduce having one leg locked and the other one bent all the time. Which I think helps relieve the stress on your back too. I would definitely recommend one of these to anyone who fishes rough water or who is relatively tall!
