There's nothing wrong with that boat. We all have to start somewhere.

I like it! I have a friend that has a cabin close to Hugo and he fishs from a boat like that. See one of the old Kingfishers or Ouchitas for sale here ever so often and they don't last long. I think you have a great little fishing boat.

Looks a little like my first, a '74 Tomboy 15 footer with stick steering and a 35hp Johnson kicker.

Those old tri-hulls were pretty bullet-proof. Good luck and have fun restoring.

Nothing at all wrong withthat boat. Fished out of one very similar in Chas. SC. As stated, it's bullet proof, and very comfortable to fish out of. Have fun and enjoy!

well i finelly got it in the water to day , yeah it worked nice all but the throttle have to work on that .

also i was wondering was this have any of you ever had a push button shift ?

i dont know what the problem is it goes intro gear fine but it seem to have to have idle to high for it to stay running when put into gear .

    Re: (sarge)

WOW!!! I had what I think is the same boat as my first boat back in 85. Mine was 14 feet long, and rated for a 35 or 40 horse I think. I had an Evinrude 50 on it with push button, but it was so long ago, I can't remember a thing about it. Also had a beer tap on the top of the stick steer.
Mine was white and like the others say tough as a nickle steak! I sold her when I went in the Army in 86. I still think about that boat from time to time.
Good luck restoring it. It will make a great fishing boat and fixed up, will look super.
