    Not a bass boat, but

Guys I bought a 1980 24' pontoon. I am stripping it to nothing and starting from there up. It has been a three day tear down, now I am trying to get the glued carpet from the floor. I managed to get a lot, but it is very time consuming and to be honest, really sucks. What can I use to loosen the glue without tearing up the wood, it is in excellant shape? I have taken pics from the start so if anyone thinks about doing a pontoon, let me know, Ill show you what I started with to what is is going to be.

get a electric buffer or grinder and put a wire wheel on it (course) and it will take it up from the wood.....

Have you tried heating it up first with a heat gun or blow dryer? Often that will soften it enough to scrape up easily with a paint scraper.
