    Replacing the carpet

I have not been active on these forums since last summer. Well the warm weather is approuching and I am getting the itch to work on the boat.

We are going to replace the carpet on the boat. Looking for a good company to work with that has resonable prices. Any suggestions?

I am trying to cover my 94' 180 FS Nitro with 140HP. Also while I am here can someone point me to that handy site with all the pics of how to replace the carpet? That place was great. I think it was one of the BBC members taking the pics.

Try http://www.bassboatcarpets.com, I think they are the best all around IMHO.

there is also a guy on ebay that is selling some good 20oz carpet for good prices.

    Re: (Branson)

Bassboatcarpets has a great web site. They have good instructions for installing carpet. Heck they even have a video you can buy showing you step by step instructions. Check them out and then go to ebay to get your carpet. I installed carpet on 2 pontoon boats last summer. I got two 8' X 24', 20 oz. pieces of carpet for $150 each including shipping. It takes a lot of time but it is well worth the savings to me. I hate to pay someone for something I can do.

I agree with what everyone has said. Bought my carpet from them last summer and did my boat. Great people and great quality.
    God bless,

I've got my carpet directly from Basscat, their carpet is the best I've seen (24oz) and for a really reasonable price...go and check out their web site

I got my carpet last year from Boatcarpetbuys.com. It was 8x20 charcoal 20oz. for $130.68 including shipping. Got it pretty quick and went to town. Carpet has lasted 2 seasons and still looks new. Comes from Dalton, GA just like all the other carpet stores so why not save a few bucks and went with these guys. Overall good experience.
