Do any of you guys know where you can buy sheets of carbon fiber material that could be used to build a dash?

Looks like you'd have to make a mold and lay it up like F/G
    Looks expensive

I looked for quite a while, and gave up...hard to find a place to look at it before you purchase...if you really want carbon, it seems the best way is to make it from something else, then laminate it with the carbon.....I ended up going with a mirrored black, and im glad I did...

ive been looking as well. Ebay has some places that carry something similar to what you are looking for. You will need to build a dash, then put carbon fiber over it to give it that look. Its been done many many times on cars.

    Re: (Branson)

I considered doing the same to my BumbleBee. After seeing the price of this stuff . I thought it would be easier to get a thin sheet and just lay it over the existing dash panel. Here are some cool colors http://www.robotcombat.com/mar....html. Still haven't done it yet but it's in the works in the future. ...Jim

Re: Carbon Fiber Dash Material? (896J)

I just finished replacing the bow panel on my Triton , I had a eagle magna III in it and it died, so I thought I would try the new 320C it has the colored screen. My problem was the hole in the original panel was to large and the wrong shape. I looked every where and real carbon fiber would cost way to much . I found a place in Fla. that sells abs plastic with a carbon fiber look. I worked great and was easy to work with. (plus no breathing hazards associated with cutting real carbon fiber.
