That boats rated for 225 and a 2.5 L efi 200 is going to struggle with a hull that weighs 2000 lbs. You would have to use a 21" pitch prop to get any proformance out of it. A 3.0 L would be a lot better.
Thanks for your reply. I will make sure to check the displacement. I could be wrong but I thought 2002 EFI's were 2.5L
They are 2.5 L. What I mean is you would be better off with a 3.0 L motor. More low end torque than a 2.5.
