    Jackplate and powerpoles

Thinking about adding a fixed or hydraulic jackplate to my 99 519vs. There are plenty of used jackplates available. Any suggestions? What are best for adding Powerpoles? Thanks in advance.

Avoid at all costs a rite hite manual or a old detweiler hydraulic.

Rapid jack is the best manual, Bob's the best hydraulic, then there's everything else.

    Billy,

I hope that you have established the correct size jackplate to begin with. You might want to ask that in a Ranger post.

I believe that Bob's is coming out with a new hydraulic jackplate that allows the power pole pump to be placed within the setback. With that you would have easy access if there are problems and not take any more space in the rear battery compartment. Atlas may already have this type of setup.
