Dave, I would strongly recomend keeping your coverage all year. If you still have a lien it is required be your lien holder. You need to check with your homowners policy to see what coverage is in place when it is in your garage. I agree with bob 100% .. most homeowners policies will only cover $500 - $1000 for a boat and these are also subject to your deductible.. in MS it seems like our min deductible is $500, but have seen some HO policies w/ ded. as low as $200
