was up sunday water temp 55 had around 20 smallies biggest 3 pounds

Looking to make my first trip there soon. Anything you could tell me as far as navigating the lake (shallow areas, etc). Where is the best place to launch coming from the MD side? Any hotlines or websites for water temp and data? Thanks!

Your best bet for the lauch is Sommerfield, its right on rte 40 at the bridge its on the main body, there is also Jockeys hollow its just across the rte 40 bridge on the right.
