Fished Beltzville on Sat.

Had a pretty good day on beltzville sat, I launched at 8:00. I got out past the no wake markers and was ready to take off when I noticed a boat out in the middle of the lake,the guy was flapping his arms, I went over and pulled him back. Then we got to some fishing,I caught 5 , four were LM, 1 SM, Zoom super fluke and a Carolina lizzard caught the fish. My partner had a 3-1/5 to 4 pounder on and lost it . It jumped out of the water and spit his hook. It was Huge!!! We left at 3:00 the lake was starting to get crazy !! And Hot!! All in All not a bad day on Beltzville on a Holiday weekend !!!

I think gas prices have a lot of people staying home, the boats that were there were anchoring in coves, not running on the lake !! High GAS prices might be a good thing for Beltzville !!! and Paulpack !!!

Haven't been to Beltzville yet this year, ever catch any big smallies there?

I fish it quite a bit....there are some real big smallies in there. I gotta get over there for the weeknight open tournaments. They have them Tuesday and Wednesday nights starting the 11th of July from what I have been told. Good luck if anyone goes!

Hey, Congrats. I wish I could fish them but I work to 5:00 everyday !! Does scott fish them with you ? My Dad leaves for Canada tomarrow and I leave for Raystown next Fri. Then we both go up to Canada Sept. 8 for a week. Talk to you soon.
