What lures do the bass like on the Yough. I was there and fished 8 hours with nothing tried spinnerbaits, tubes, jig and chunks, swimbaits, crankbaits both 10 and 19 feet divers, in the brush below 40 bridge away from the dam and in the fingers.

Racefan you have picked a hard time of year to catch fish, july and august can be tough and add on the boat traffic from a holiday weekend. Try main lake points early in the morning or in the evening throwing topwater or tubes. And as the sun warms up try deep ledges 30-40 ft deep dragging tubes.

It was a muessed up trip. I was suppose to fish the mon at ten mile but it was carmal from the rain and full of timber and I drove over a hour to get there and wanted to fish bad so we figured just drive further and see what the yaugh was like. It was tough with lots of boats and heat
Scott when the water is still in the bushes the green fish are in there. Head south to the river and be patient. - DC

Fished the Yough on Sunday. water was about 3' above summer pool. Found some nice smallies in 20-30 FOW. Had a few slab bluegills in the livewell too, but not enough to make a meal. Let them go before heading to the circus that was at the ramp.
