Finally did well fishing Blue Marsh

Caught 14 bass last Saturday at Blue Marsh. That is more than I have caught in the previous three years. Biggest was 4lbs 2 oz. Had a 9lb 2 oz bag to win the tourney and lunker. Caught them all in about 6 feet of water using my home made senko type lure in green pumpkin with black fleck and white with large silver fleck. Texas rigged and wacky rigged both worked. Fished in the area past the no wake zone and under the route 183 bridge. I have to go back soon to see it will happen again or was just one of those days.

Good for you Doc, didn't think there was 14 fish in that whole darn lake. Congrats on the win and a very decent bag for that water. What, last year 6 guys didn't catch that many total. Anyhow, think maybe I'll be there next Tuesday, got some gas to burn outta the boat. Hope they still want to bite.

I'm going back there tomorrow, Friday. I have a repair job near Reading in the early morning and so I will be bringing the boat and heading over to BM. How have you been?
