Just took the boat out for first time this year, or tried. Motor would not fire. Turned over and over but didn't fire once. Gas appears to be getting to the motor (can smell it) but nothing else. I fired it up without a problem a month or two ago and now nada. Any ideas on where to start? Thanks
OK where to start, first off do all the simple obvious things first, do not start pulling things to bits or buying a bag of parts, is the safety cutout lanyard still attached? is the choke working? do you have spark? pull the plugs and have a look at them, are they wet? are they dry? do the very easy things first.
