Come on guys let's post some reports!
Fished Saturday in the flooded timber on the west end. Wife caught her first bass of the year (2.5 pounder) running shad colored Excaliber medium diver along the stumb beds. There is a lot of top water action going on around the floating logs. Watched a few bass blow up around the logs but couldnt connect. I did catch one large slab crappie on a chartreuse roadrunner jig (I did some crappie fishing for a while) and caught a few dinks.
Wife caught a few on live minnows.
Talked to Mary and the ODWC released 588 one-pounders in there last week along with about a half dozen 6 pounders. They did the shock survey and they wanted to increase the spawn capabilities with the larger females that they released. Overall fishing was good.
