interesting report and good job in the tourny! I was thinking about fishing Stren next year due to the fact 2 of the 4 in my division would be 2 hours or less from the house ( Lake Gaston and Potomac). The 2 in N.Y. would be all new for me (Champlain & 1000 islands). Never fished for deep smallmouth so sounds like i might have to look for the largemouth bite. Did you stay in the Lawrence the whole time?

both locations offer you all sorts of options to fit your style of fishing... I fished in the river the whole time but with the flat conditions, a lake option would been nice... Clayton and Plattsburgh are 2 of the best tournament towns in the country...
