I was wondering if any one could help me out? I am looking for a place to take the family on vacation, fishing of course, 2 small kids and myself and my wife. trying to find something in NY. were from PA. originally go to Canada but with fuel prices that might be a bit much. Any help or comments will be appreciated, THANKS!

Black lake is also a nice place to go. It is great fishing, lots of camps and cabbins, boat rentals and plenty of places to fish out of the wind. wwwblacklakeNY.com I think is a good web site to check out, if not just google Black Lake NY.

Thousand Islands... great fishing and the kids will have a ball... I'm taking them all up there this year for the Stren Series... Vacation for them... Tournament for me!
Thanks for the ideas, my parents decided to go along to now, So have to look for a cabin with some sort of easy access my mom had her knee replaced a little while ago and does not get around to well . Oh well just makes it a little more interesting and the kids get to spend a little more time with the grandparents.
