Any suggestions for new dual cable system for 1988 Evinrude 150xp? ..makes/models or any other particulars would be appreciated. Very difficult to distinguish what will and won't work with what motors (pre - 95 anyway).

Teleflex makes most all the steering systems in use today.
I don't think there will be much difference in fitting to an 88 or a 95 model, some early motors did not have the 4 holes to fit front mounted adapters, but the tilt tube and all the other bits are the same, well I think anyway from memory.
