Yup, for the most part. Defense looked awful the first two Eagles drives, and then stepped up just about the rest of the game. Brady still looks like there's something wrong, his passes just aren't finding the marks with the accuracy they always used to.

Ummm, Snover....thinking you are getting a little picky...26/36? 360 yards, no picks? Would you rather have Vince Youngs stats? 400 yards? Tell me where Brady made bad throws yesterdsay? I said throws, not one bad pass, but even a couple in a row that weren't good...there, now be quiet.

LOL, valid point, but he should have been 30/36 or better, he had a couple of throws that weren't all that great, too high or behind the receiver. That drop by the rookie receiver out in the middle of the field though.... how do you drop a pass like that?!?!!

While we're on the topic of the Patriots, I know everyone says that our defense is terrible, but they're not as bad as they look. There's no arguing they give up far too many yards through the air. BUT, they make the stops when it counts, and that's before the team scores. We may be ranked dead last in passing yards, and in total defense, but we have a pretty good run defense, and we're ranked 11th in the league for points allowed. A lot can be said for that, but mainly, our defense bends a hell of a lot, but rarely breaks.

Did you see Brady thread that pass to Branch? A bullet!!! It is all about the receivers, he hit that rookie right in the hands and he dropped it, he leads Hernandez a little and he makes a one handed catch. It is all about the talent out there, he could have been 27-36 (75% completion) with another TD, but 72% isn't that bad.

I thought he looked better than he did all year.

I think the defense is making baby steps towards being decent. As long as they can keep the other team to scoring one point less than the offense and not put us in a huge hole early then I'm happy.
Still the offense was awesome yesterday, No complaints about Brady here.

The defense makes me nervous

I hear ya brutha, even with McCourty and Chung on the field it wasn't very good. The thing that is very hopeful is the D line, playing pretty good lately.
They also seem to have an endless stream of people to plug into the secondary, using Edelman back there tells us a lot.
At least it seems to be improving more than failing lately.

I know what you mean Jim. It's hard to get excited when the defense walks on the field. I get nervous every time it's late in the game and we have to punt. As far as Brady is concerned...I know what Sean is saying about Brady. I want to associate his occasional troubles to the pressure that he has been seeing. When he has to rush a pass it can be off target.
